progress or not?

I feel that it calls for drastic measures (I tried to put it aside but I couldn't).
I've added more of the rocky face exposed by the fires and toned down the area behind the main castle structure. I've quietened down the trees to a more olive colour. It feels like progress. Now for a lunch break and a think about it :-)


I sent an SOS to artist Sheryl O'Gorman at Studio 46, whose critical eye I hold in high regard, and she suggested cropping the sky. I think she could be right.
