Now that I have posted I can see some changes I need to make. The distance of the computer screen brings objectivity.

How are you liking it?
AG - I like it a lot, although for large controlled washes I think I prefer paper. I have decided to work up one in pencil over the colour, rather back to front but I feel like drawing at the moment and it would give it a very different look. I hope to finish all four this afternoon, but I put a dark wash on one and am not sure about it.
The gentleman has a very distinctive nose, and I want to get it right. In some photos he is really thin, so it is difficult to find the right image.
I think I have said this before, but... no more working to tight deadlines for me. It just isn't good feeling that what you are putting out there is less than your best.
