and still no relief...

Hot all the way until at least next Wednesday (I'm in the area with the 33 degree predictions. We are usually a few degrees hotter as those of Rome and Naples are more coastal figures. My trees are stressed, the pot plants turning up their toes, and the hillsides burning. The sound of helicopters (with monsoon buckets) is all too frequent.

I heard in town today that the water will be off again this afternoon down in the valley, the supplies are just too low. The fountain next door continues to flow freely. We are in the same council area. There's something not quite right in that picture!

No problems here. And we never had problems with the water. (Don't believe everything you here)

It's in the town itself that the water is turned off. People who need it for work (like the hairdresser who was talking about it) have to have a separate supply. My friends by the church regularly lose water in the summer.

Oh to be a heat lover like you! I like it under 30 degrees, about 28 is close to perfect!
