Abandoned in a (different) carton beside my car last night.
Zacchi, most unimpressed, is being very good! 
He says he doesn't know what the thing is, but it can stay as long as it doesn't touch his food, go near Mum, or enter the house. 
Fair enough, I reckon!
Just what is this thing? Do I eat it or play with it? 
(If he survives the next few days we will name him, Zacchi and I, but for now we will wait).
Today I am grateful for kind neighbours who rescued the pup from the roadside late at night.
