But this time of my own doing. I allowed myself to be distracted and join other events instead of painting this one, due to be finished tomorrow. My relaxing weekend of painting this turned into a day painting for Colle San Magno and half a day watching helicopters and the spreading flames.
This blog post is to give me a little objectivity; I am too close to the painting.
