It was far too good a day to be inside

Springtime is a magic time. Your photos show how high you are placed in the hills, just perfect countryside for clambering with two or four legged buddies.

This evening really was magic. Zacchi and I were walking towards a mobile sheet of colour... so hard to describe.
It was sunset, and there was a shower of rain coming up the valley, a fabulous peach colour which formed a soft sheet steadily moving towards us. The wall of colour softly erased the landscape as it advanced.
I was drawn to it as though it had magnetic power, even though I knew it was drawing me to rain. It really was like a soft wall, not something you could see into.
We turned when we got to the spits of rain, but the shower didn't reach our village.
After dinner we went out again...just in case... and yes, we found another fire-fly. They are not due here for another 3 or 4 weeks, it isn't hot enough yet.
There is always something new, something special here.
