(for my paintyface daughter)
The painting, which I hope to start in earnest tomorrow, will have five "arches" in it, and will span the history of this particular arch.
It is a long canvas and will start at the top with a copy of the ancient drawings of the arch and its surroundings.
I have sketched out the general form and located all the necessary photographs from different ages. That was made simpler thanks to other enthusiastic "arch savers" posting them somewhat randomly on the group Facebook page.
Today I am grateful for wonderful new friends.
